537 new COVID-19 cases recorded, six new deaths

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 573 new COVID-19 cases and six new deaths Saturday, bringing the total death toll to 10,865 and the total cases to 840,117.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 175 cases, while Zarqa recorded 56 cases. Irbid registered 152 cases, Balqa 41 cases, Karak recorded 16, Jerash recorded five cases, and Tafileh recorded eight. Madaba registered 13 cases, Aqaba 45, and Ajloun six.

The ministry added in a statement that around 45 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 62 new patients were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 14,872 according to the ministry. Around 3.15 percent of the 18,190 COVID-19 tests conducted today came back positive.
