14 new deaths and 1,286 new cases

AMMAN  — Jordan recorded 1,286 new COVID-19 cases and 14 new deaths Wednesday, bringing the total death toll to 10,841 and the total cases to 837,255.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 577 cases, while Zarqa recorded 106 cases. Irbid registered 251 cases, Balqa 68 cases, Karak recorded 28, Jerash recorded 31 cases, and Tafileh recorded 11. Madaba registered 27 cases, Aqaba 49, and Ajloun 46.

The ministry added in a statement that around 60 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 80 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 14,363 according to the ministry. Around 3.8 percent of the 33,878 COVID-19 tests conducted today came back positive.
