Jordan records 6 new COVID deaths, 1,116 new cases

AMMAN— Jordan recorded 1116 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday and six new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,574 and the total number of cases to 810,559, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that 480 cases were recorded in Amman, while Zarqa recorded 160 new cases, Irbid 115 new cases, Balqa 56, Karak 54, Jerash 41, Tafileh 33, Madaba 12, Aqaba 36, Ajloun 24, and Mafraq 44 new cases.

The ministry said that 69 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 87 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,468 according to the Ministry of Health. Out of 32,710 COVID-19 tests administered Wednesday, 3.41 percent tested positive.
