Amman — Professional associations, healthcare representatives and retired military officers affirmed that Jordan is not a fragile arena, but a firmly established state capable of confronting attempts to undermine its security and stability, with crises only strengthening its cohesion and resilience.اضافة اعلان

They stressed that Jordan’s security, stability and sovereignty are red lines that cannot be violated, emphasizing that the state possesses the will and capability to confront various threats and challenges.

President of the Jordanian Professional Associations Council and head of the Jordanian Dental Association Dr. Aya Al-Asmar said professional associations would remain active national partners in reform and modernization efforts, serving as platforms for knowledge, expertise and competence while defending the public interest as part of their national responsibility and role in serving society.

Al-Asmar said the Speech from the Throne carried clear national messages and priorities requiring action and responsibility. She said the King’s emphasis that Jordan’s strength lies in the cohesion, awareness and wisdom of its people reflects the essence of the national equation in confronting challenges and confirms that national unity is the source of the state’s strength and resilience.

She expressed pride in the efforts of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security services, describing them as the country’s shield and formidable defense. She also praised Jordan’s steadfast position on the Palestinian cause, the Palestinian people’s right to their land and freedom, and the defense of Jerusalem and its holy sites.

She added that the King had placed a clear responsibility before state institutions: ensuring that citizens’ interests remain at the heart of decision-making and translating development plans into tangible achievements that improve their lives and their children’s future.

She said the King’s emphasis on the rule of law and accountability, and his assertion that there is no immunity for anyone who abuses their position, provides a firm foundation for a state based on institutions and justice. It also reinforces the principle that public office is a responsibility and a service, not a privilege — a clear message to anyone holding public office or a national responsibility.

President of the Private Hospitals Association Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri said the Speech from the Throne reaffirmed the unity of Jordanians and the failure of all attempts targeting the country’s security and stability.

He said the King’s emphasis that the interests of Jordanians must be at the heart of government decisions would positively affect vital development sectors, particularly healthcare and education, as well as the implementation of strategic water-security projects.

He explained that the strength of healthcare institutions in both the public and private sectors is a major pillar of the Kingdom’s overall strength. This has been demonstrated by their high-level performance in dealing with crises and critical periods, from receiving large numbers of refugees and emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic with greater resilience, to treating large numbers of Arab patients in Jordanian hospitals.

He said this represents strong evidence of Jordan’s security and stability and the strength of its healthcare system.

Secretary-General of the Jordanian Nursing Council Dr. Hani Al-Nawafleh said the Speech from the Throne delivered clear messages affirming that Jordan is a firmly established state with strong institutions, strengthened by its Hashemite leadership, Arab Army and security services, and protected by the unity of its people.

He stressed that Jordan’s national security, sovereignty and stability are historic constants that cannot be compromised or tested.

He said the royal address constitutes a call to action for all institutions to translate its messages into practices that strengthen the country’s resilience. The council, chaired by HRH Princess Muna Al Hussein, reflects this national responsibility by qualifying nurses and midwives, strengthening professional and humanitarian values, and raising community awareness.

He said this reflects the belief that protecting people, safeguarding their dignity and strengthening their health security are integral parts of the national security system.

Senior Health Systems Adviser retired Maj. Gen. Dr. Musa Al-Ajlouni said confidence had been renewed following the Speech from the Throne that Jordan’s strength lies in its wise leadership, military and security capabilities, resilient national institutions, cohesive domestic front and ability to confront challenges and threats regardless of their source.

He stressed that having a healthcare system capable of protecting citizens’ health, responding to epidemics and emergencies, providing medicines and medical supplies, and ensuring continuity of services is an essential component of the state’s resilience and sovereignty.

He emphasized that strong national institutions and pharmaceutical industries are fundamental pillars of medicine security and strategic independence. A strong Jordan, he said, is one protected by strong, integrated and efficient institutions capable of remaining resilient and functioning under all circumstances.

Retired Maj. Gen. Hilal Al-Khawaldeh said the royal messages in the Speech from the Throne drew clear red lines for anyone contemplating an attempt to undermine Jordan’s security.

He said they were not merely political positions but constituted a clear deterrent message combining state firmness with the cohesion of Jordanian society.

He added that the King’s assertion that Jordan would stand firmly against threats and that they would not weaken its resilience sends a direct message to terrorist organizations that Jordan is not a fragile arena, but a firmly established state capable of confronting attempts to destabilize its security and stability, with crises only making it more cohesive and stronger.

He said invoking the blood of the Karak martyrs represents the highest degree of loyalty to their sacrifices and constitutes a national and moral commitment to continuing the fight against extremist ideology and terrorist cells, while showing no leniency toward anyone who attempts to tamper with the country’s security.

He noted that the royal address sent a clear message abroad that Jordan cannot be broken and is prepared to confront challenges, while also reassuring those at home that state institutions stand united to protect citizens and safeguard their security and stability.

Retired Maj. Gen. Mohammad Suleiman Bani Yaseen said the King’s words carried powerful and clear political, military and security messages, reflecting the will of a firmly established state that will not compromise its security or sovereignty and a leadership that understands the nature of the challenges and threats facing the region.

He added that the King’s assertion that Jordan would stand firmly against the treacherous hand of terrorism carries a strategic deterrence message: the state does not merely respond to threats after they occur, but possesses the will and capability to anticipate and thwart them.

This capability, he said, is based on the readiness of the Jordanian Armed Forces — Arab Army, the efficiency of the security and intelligence services, and the integration of national institutions.

Former Inspector General of the Jordanian Armed Forces, retired Maj. Gen. Talal Fawaz Al-Adwan, said the King’s Speech from the Throne carried clear strategic messages concerning the protection of Jordanian national security and confronting security challenges, cross-border terrorism and extremist ideology.

Al-Adwan said the royal address reflects a deep understanding of the security transformations taking place in the region.

He noted that terrorism is no longer limited to armed organizations with centralized leadership or control over geographic areas. It has evolved into cross-border networks that use technology and digital platforms for recruitment, incitement and the dissemination of extremist ideology, while also exploiting regional crises and conflicts.

He added that confronting these threats requires a shift from the traditional concept of security response toward a proactive security system based on developing intelligence capabilities, strengthening border surveillance, exchanging information, increasing operational readiness, and combating the financing and logistical support networks of terrorist organizations.
