Amman — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Majdi Mohammad Al-Harasais on Wednesday inaugurated several new buildings belonging to a unit of the Royal Naval Force and Royal Boats Command. He was received by the force’s commander.
In the presence of a number of senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces, Al-Harasais was briefed on training, operational and logistical activities, future plans, and mechanisms for protecting facilities at the Port of Aqaba and along the eastern coast of the Dead Sea.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said that developing the infrastructure of the Royal Naval Force and Royal Boats in line with the latest engineering standards represents a strategic step in the ongoing development and modernization of the armed forces, strengthening their ability to adapt to various changes.
At the conclusion of the inauguration, Al-Harasais met with the unit’s personnel and conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces. He praised their high level of readiness and professionalism in carrying out the duties and missions assigned to them.
