Hassan emphasized that Jordan and Iraq share a long history of friendship and genuine brotherhood, reaffirming that Jordan has always been, and will continue to be, a loyal brother and steadfast supporter of Iraq.
He stressed that Iraq's security and stability are integral to Jordan's security and the stability of the entire region.
He noted that the region is facing sensitive circumstances and rapidly evolving challenges, making it more important than ever to intensify consultations and coordination between the two countries and with fellow Arab nations.
Hassan underscored the importance of prioritizing dialogue and political and diplomatic solutions to address regional crises, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, and rejecting any interference that could undermine regional security and stability.
He reaffirmed Jordan's rejection and condemnation of Israeli policies in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza, which seek to undermine prospects for establishing a Palestinian state, impose new realities on the ground, and displace Palestinians from their land.
He also emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation with Arab nations and international partners to confront these escalating measures, which pose a serious threat to the region.
Hassan stated that ensuring Palestinians remain firmly rooted in their homeland is at the heart of Jordan's efforts under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
He stressed that this approach is fundamental to safeguarding the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to establish an independent state.
He added that Jordan stands alongside its brothers in Syria and Lebanon, supporting their efforts to achieve security, stability, and development, while rejecting repeated Israeli attacks against both countries and Israel's occupation of their territories.
Hassan concluded by warning that Israeli settlement expansion and expansionist policies in the Palestinian territories and the wider region pose a threat to regional and global security.
