"We extend our condolences to their families, His Majesty King Abdullah II, and the entire Jordanian people. Today, we are more reassured knowing that justice has caught up with those responsible for this heinous terrorist crime and that the blood of our martyrs will not have been shed in vain," Faraya said.

His remarks came during a joint press conference at the Ministry of Interior, attended by the ministers of Government Communication and Interior, along with the Public Security Director, to provide details on the arrest of those responsible for the terrorist attack in Karak Governorate.

Faraya recalled that His Majesty King Abdullah II, during his visit to those injured in the attack at the hospital, had pledged to deal firmly with the perpetrators and hold everyone involved accountable.

"The success of today's security operation confirms that His Majesty's directives are being translated into concrete action and that the Jordanian state will not compromise when it comes to protecting lives," he said.

Faraya expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Jordan's security agencies and all institutions and personnel who contributed to the success of the operation.

He praised their tireless efforts since the moment the crime occurred, highlighting the professionalism, efficiency, and coordination that enabled security forces to arrest the three terrorists without any injuries among security personnel.

"The arrest of the perpetrators does not mean that our work is over," Faraya stressed.

He explained that the state would continue its investigations to uncover all circumstances surrounding the crime and hold accountable anyone found to have been involved in planning, inciting, assisting, or facilitating the attack, in accordance with the law.

"No one involved will escape legal accountability," he affirmed.
Faraya emphasized that the crime was the result of extremist takfiri ideology, which is alien to Jordanian values and principles, underscoring the need to continue confronting such ideology through security, intellectual, and societal efforts.

"The battle against terrorism does not end with the arrest of those responsible for terrorist crimes. It requires addressing the roots of extremism, hate speech, and incitement," he said.

Concluding his remarks, Faraya renewed his prayers for the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

"We reassure our people in Karak and all Jordanians that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership, supported by its security agencies, national institutions, and the unity of its people, will remain resilient against terrorism and extremism. The security and safety of Jordanians will always remain our highest priority," he said.
