Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya said that security agencies had arrested those responsible for the terrorist attack targeting a church in the village of Hamoud, Karak Governorate, following fierce resistance.
Al-Faraya told Al-Mamlaka that security agencies had carried out extensive operational and intelligence efforts to identify the perpetrators, noting that there were three of them and that they had been identified from the outset of the incident.
He explained that security agencies expanded the scope of their investigations and suspects in Karak Governorate as part of efforts to locate those involved and arrest them.
Al-Faraya said the perpetrators were apprehended inside a building in Karak, near the site of the attack, adding that they had sustained serious injuries to various parts of their bodies.
