Malaysia has expressed its deepest condolences to the Jordanian government and people, as well as to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted the Greek Orthodox Church in the village of Hamoud in Karak Governorate.

In a statement issued by its Foreign Ministry on Sunday, Malaysia affirmed its solidarity with Jordan and strongly condemned the deliberate attack on a place of worship, describing it as a grave violation of the sanctity of religious sites and a heinous act of extremism that has no place in any society.
Malaysia reaffirmed its firm commitment to stand alongside Jordan in rejecting extremism in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of its motives or the justifications offered for it.
It also reiterated its commitment to strengthening the close and longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries, including upholding shared values of religious harmony and peaceful coexistence.
