The U.S. Embassy in Amman lowered the American flag to half-staff yesterday to mourn the victims of the terrorist attack targeting a church in Karak Governorate and to express solidarity with Jordan’s leadership and people.

In a statement published yesterday on its social media accounts, the Embassy extended the American people’s heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and expressed solidarity with the injured and survivors, reaffirming that the United States stands with His Majesty King Abdullah II against those who seek to sow division and target innocent people simply for practicing their faith.
