The officer in charge of operations at the External Patrols Department said all major roads were experiencing active traffic at the start of official working hours, particularly on routes toward Amman and between the governorates, with no significant disruptions reported.

A representative of the Traffic Department said traffic was noticeably busy on Sunday as the new week began and universities resumed classes. Roads were experiencing active but smooth traffic, with no major obstacles reported.

The national vehicle inspection campaign is continuing to ensure that vehicles and their essential components are fit for use during the winter season, reduce traffic accidents and improve road safety. The official praised the strong response from citizens to the campaign and traffic officers.

Drivers were urged to have their vehicles properly maintained, follow the instructions of traffic officers in the field, correct any deficiencies and ensure that all vehicle components are in proper working condition to protect themselves and other road users.

Representatives of the Traffic Department and External Patrols Department also urged drivers to comply with traffic rules and right-of-way regulations, observe posted speed limits, avoid dangerous violations and refrain from distractions while driving.

They stressed that these measures would help maintain smooth traffic flow and protect the safety of drivers and other road users. Drivers were also advised to call the unified emergency number 911 whenever necessary, with authorities confirming their full readiness to provide assistance around the clock.
