Jordan records 1,016 cases on Tuesday

AMMAN   — The number of COVID-19 cases recorded on Tuesday reached 1,016, while 12 deaths were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 103, 20 and the caseload to 791,466.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Tuesday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 433 cases, while Zarqa recorded 183 cases.

Irbid registered 111 cases, while Balqa recorded 30 cases.

Karak recorded 29, Jerash recorded 28 cases, and Tafileh recorded 55.

Madaba registered 32 cases, Aqaba 18, and Ajloun 21.

Mafraq registered 31 new cases.

Ramtha recorded 11 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 73 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 72 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,447 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.27 percent of the 31,063 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
