COVID-19 claims 15 on Monday

AMMAN   — The number of COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday reached 976, while 15 deaths were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,308 and the caseload to 790,450.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 466 cases, while Zarqa recorded 130 cases.

Irbid registered 63 cases, while Balqa recorded 30 cases.

Karak recorded 38, Jerash recorded 35 cases, and Tafileh recorded 36.

Madaba registered 18 cases, Aqaba 22, and Ajloun 22.

Mafraq registered 18 new cases.

Ramtha recorded 10 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 68 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 66 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,357 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.83 percent of the 34,484 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
