Jordan records 958 cases on Sunday

AMMAN   — The number of COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday reached 958, while 8 deaths were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,285 and the caseload to 788,516.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Sunday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 455 cases, while Zarqa recorded 148 cases.

Irbid registered 63 cases, while Balqa recorded 53 cases.

Karak recorded 35, Jerash recorded 30 cases, and Tafileh recorded 48.

Madaba registered 5 cases, Aqaba 13, and Ajloun 50.

Mafraq registered 14 new cases.

Ramtha recorded 0 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 78 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 77 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,310 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.46 percent of the 27682 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
