Jordan records 782 cases on Thursday

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Thursday reached 12, while a total of 782 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,264 and the caseload to 787,367.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Thursday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 377 cases, while Zarqa recorded 148 cases.

Irbid registered 71 cases, while Balqa recorded 54 cases.

Karak recorded 11, Jerash recorded 30 cases, and Tafileh recorded 27.

Madaba registered 9 cases, Aqaba 13, and Ajloun 12.

Mafraq registered 12 new cases.

Ramtha recorded 3 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 69 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 90 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,116, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.82 percent of the 27,749 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
