Jordan records 11 new COVID deaths.

AMMAN— Jordan recorded 973 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday and eleven new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,568 and the total number of cases to 809,443, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that 409 cases were recorded in Amman, while Zarqa recorded 77 new cases, Irbid 116 new cases, Balqa 50, Karak 38, Jerash 39, Tafileh 53, Madaba 17, Aqaba 46, Ajloun 16, and Mafraq 47 new cases.

The ministry said that 57 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 57 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,317 according to the Ministry of Health. Out of 31,268 COVID-19 tests administered Tuesday, 3.11 percent tested positive.
