Jordan records nine new COVID deaths, 1,086 new cases

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1,086 new COVID-19 cases on Monday and nine new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,557 and the total number of cases to 808,470, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that 394 cases were recorded in Amman, while Zarqa recorded 181 new cases, Irbid 140 new cases, Balqa 46, Karak 43, Jerash 32, Tafileh 62, Madaba eight, Aqaba 61, Ajloun 27, and Mafraq 40 new cases.

The ministry said that 88 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals Monday, while 60 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,211 according to the Ministry of Health. Out of 32,760 COVID-19 tests administered Monday, 3.32 percent tested positive.
