Jordan records six new COVID deaths

AMMAN— Jordan recorded 883 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday and six new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,548 and the caseload to 807,384, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that 437 cases were recorded in Amman, while Zarqa recorded 80 cases. Irbid registered 53 cases, Balqa 50 cases, Karak recorded 29 cases, Jerash 48 cases, Tafileh 65, Madaba registered 19 cases, Aqaba 34, Ajloun 14, and Mafraq registered 28 new cases.

The ministry said in a statement that some 59 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals Sunday, while 83 were admitted. The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,223 according to the Ministry of Health.

Out of 29,050 COVID-19 tests administered Sunday, 3.04 percent tested positive.
