Jordan records 11 COVID deaths Saturday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 489 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday and 11 new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,542 and the total number of cases to 806,501, according to the Ministry of Health. اضافة اعلان

Amman recorded 168 cases, while Zarqa recorded 102 cases, Irbid registered 74 cases, Balqa 15 cases, Karak 9 cases, Jerash 13 cases and Tafileh 25, Madaba 5 cases, Aqaba 32, Ajloun 9, and Mafraq 25 new cases.
The ministry said that 39 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 have recovered and were discharged from hospitals Saturday, while 73 new cases were admitted to hospital.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,151 according to the Ministry of Health. Out of 20,664 COVID-19 tests carried out today, 2.37 percent came back positive.
