Jordan records 13 COVID deaths Friday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 798 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, in addition to 13 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,531 and the caseload to 806,012.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 389 cases, while Zarqa recorded 73 cases.

Irbid registered 81 cases, while Balqa recorded 29 cases.

Karak recorded 41, Jerash recorded 24 cases, and Tafileh recorded 27.

Madaba registered 9 cases, Aqaba 13, and Ajloun 24.

Mafraq registered 49 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 64 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 59 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,043 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.91 percent of the 27,414 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
