The Public Security Directorate has urged citizens to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines amid the weather conditions expected on Friday and Saturday, as a relatively cold air mass is forecast to affect the Kingdom.

According to official weather forecasts, scattered showers are expected across northern and central Jordan, as well as parts of the southwestern regions. Rainfall may occasionally be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas.
The Public Security Directorate spokesperson called on citizens to follow these precautionary measures:
Stay away from valleys, flood channels and low-lying areas.
Exercise caution when driving on rain-affected roads and remain alert to slippery conditions.
Reduce speed and maintain a safe distance, particularly in foggy areas during the morning hours in mountainous regions, parts of the Badia and the plains.
Take necessary precautions when driving in desert areas, where dust may reduce horizontal visibility.
Use all types of heating equipment safely and ensure adequate ventilation.
The spokesperson also affirmed that Public Security Directorate personnel are fully prepared to respond to various weather conditions and emergencies.
Citizens were urged to follow instructions issued by the relevant authorities and contact the unified emergency number (911) whenever necessary.
