Seven new COVID deaths, 1,307 new cases

AMMAN  — Jordan recorded 1,307 new COVID-19cases on Monday, in addition to 7 new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,818 and the total caseload to 834,778.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 557 cases, while Zarqa recorded 93 cases. Irbid registered 236 cases, Balqa 72 cases, Karak recorded 28, Jerash recorded 23 cases, and Tafileh recorded 23. Madaba registered 29 cases, Aqaba 73, and Ajloun 39.

The ministry added in a statement that some 73 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 74 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 13,980 according to the Ministry of Health. Around 4.02 percent of the 32,511 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
