AMMAN — Jordan recorded 428 new COVID-19
cases on Saturday, in addition to 12 new deaths, bringing the death toll to
10,606 and the caseload to 812,681.
The Ministry of Health stated that Amman
recorded 207 cases, while Zarqa recorded 38 cases.
Irbid registered 44 cases, while Balqa
recorded 9 cases.
Karak recorded 13, Jerash recorded 2
cases, and Tafileh recorded 26.
Madaba registered 7 cases, Aqaba 25, and
Ajloun 26.
Mafraq registered 9 new cases.
The ministry added in a statement that
some 35 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from
hospitals, while 57 were admitted.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in
the Kingdom stands at around 12,441 according to the Ministry of Health.
Around 2.57 percent of the 16,640 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
