Jordan records 787 cases on Friday

AMMAN   — The number of COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday reached 787, while 8 deaths were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,358 and the caseload to 793,969.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Thursday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 360 cases, while Zarqa recorded 149 cases.

Irbid registered 96 cases, while Balqa recorded 38 cases.

Karak recorded 24, Jerash recorded 15 cases, and Tafileh recorded 18.

Madaba registered 8 cases, Aqaba 17, and Ajloun 19.

Mafraq registered 19 new cases.

Ramtha recorded 17 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 68 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 67 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,417 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.70 percent of the 29,095 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
