Jordan records 904 cases on Thursday

AMMAN   — The number of COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday reached 904, while 12 deaths were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,350 and the caseload to 793,192.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Thursday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 398 cases, while Zarqa recorded 148 cases.

Irbid registered 93 cases, while Balqa recorded 47 cases.

Karak recorded 21, Jerash recorded 34 cases, and Tafileh recorded 40.

Madaba registered 18 cases, Aqaba 29, and Ajloun 34.

Mafraq registered 17 new cases.

Ramtha recorded 5 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 65 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 77 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,640 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.85 percent of the 31,726 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
