Ayman Hanandeh, chairman of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce committee, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the value of exports reflects the scale of commercial activity and re-export movement the city is witnessing, noting that cars and their accessories accounted for the largest share of commercial exports last month, alongside construction materials, sanitary ware, medicines and their supplies, food products, clothing and jewelry, electrical and electronic devices, and home, office furniture, and stationery.
He pointed out that the diversity of re-exported goods reflects the range of commercial sectors that contribute to invigorating economic activity in Zarqa, and strengthening its role as an important commercial and logistics hub, benefiting from its geographic location and the presence of the Free Zone, which is a significant contributor to commercial activity.
