His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived at the Parliament at 12:30 p.m. on Monday to inaugurate the third ordinary session of Parliament with the Royal Speech from the Throne.

Upon His Majesty's arrival at the Parliament courtyard, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, an artillery salute of 21 rounds was fired in honor of the King.
The Jordan Armed Forces band played the Royal Anthem, after which His Majesty inspected the guard of honor lined up to welcome him.
His Majesty was received upon arrival by the heads of the three branches of government, along with senior civilian and military officials.
