Director of the Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) office in Zarqa, Obada Ezzeddin Abu Qamar, stated that the second phase includes operating the Zarqa–Irbid, Zarqa–Mafraq, and Karak–Zarqa routes, alongside six other routes connecting various governorates. This comes as a continuation of Phase One, which encompassed the Amman–Irbid, Amman–Jerash, Amman–Salt, and Amman–Karak routes.

He added that the LTRC signed an agreement to operate 42 medium-sized buses on the Zarqa–Irbid line as part of a plan aimed at raising transport efficiency and improving service quality between governorates.

Abu Qamar explained that Phase Two buses will be equipped with intelligent transport systems—including electronic payment, surveillance cameras, and free Wi-Fi service—to enhance safety and service quality, noting that installation work for these systems is currently underway.

He confirmed that operations for Phase Two routes will commence gradually starting at the end of July, based on the readiness of each route and the completion of technical and operational requirements, including setting up points of sale and top-up centers for electronic card charging.
