Israeli Military: We Targeted the Iranian Regime's Air Defenses
The Israeli military announced that it attacked infrastructure used for producing raw materials for the Iranian missile program at the Mahshahr complex, confirming that the targeting of the complex on Monday morning came as a completion of previous raids executed during an operation it named "Lion's Roar."اضافة اعلان

During a press conference, the Israeli military spokesperson stated that Israeli forces attacked a petrochemical complex that produces raw materials used in the Iranian missile program, and also targeted the air defense systems belonging to the Iranian regime.

He added that the Israeli military responded "forcefully" to the Iranian attacks, emphasizing that Israeli forces are doing everything in their power to maintain the safety of Israelis.

The spokesperson accused the Iranian regime of defending its proxies in Lebanon.

This comes after a mutual escalation between Iran and Israel, which began with Tehran launching 11 missiles toward Israel—which the latter said its air defenses intercepted entirely—before the Israeli military announced it had conducted raids on military targets inside Iran.

Both sides exchanged accusations of responsibility for the escalation, at a time when diplomatic efforts continue to contain the tension and prevent the expansion of the confrontation.
