Head of the commission, Minister Muayyad Shaaban, stated in the commission’s monthly report titled “Violations of the Occupation and Colonial Expansion Measures”, released on Monday, that Israeli forces carried out 1,097 attacks, while settlers were responsible for 540 incidents.
He noted that the attacks were concentrated mainly in the governorates of Nablus (402 attacks), followed by Hebron (340), Ramallah and al-Bireh (312), and Bethlehem (171), indicating a high level of systematic targeting in these areas.
Shaaban added that the violations included direct physical assaults, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands, seizing property, and demolishing homes and agricultural structures. He also pointed out that these practices coincide with the closure of large areas of Palestinian land, while settlers receive protection and support to expand within those areas.
