The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) stated on Sunday that several operational facilities belonging to the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and the Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) were targeted in an Iranian attack using drones.

The Corporation confirmed that the assault resulted in fires breaking out at a number of these facilities, causing significant material losses. No human casualties or injuries were reported.
KPC noted that emergency and firefighting teams from the concerned companies immediately intervened, supported by the Kuwait Fire Force. They successfully implemented approved response plans with high efficiency, containing the blazes and preventing them from spreading to other facilities.
The statement further explained that all necessary precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of employees and secure the installations. Efforts are currently underway to evaluate the damage resulting from the incident in coordination with relevant authorities.
