Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Announces Targeting of a U.S. Base in Kuwait

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday that at least two missiles targeted a U.S. military base in Kuwait, according to reports by the Iranian news agencies Fars and Mehr.

The two agencies quoted the IRGC as saying that “the American base in Arifjan (…) was struck by two missiles launched by the missile unit of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,” referring to Camp Arifjan located south of Kuwait City.

Kuwaiti authorities have not yet commented on these reports.
