Amman – Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority took the legal oath of office before Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Sunday, following the Royal approval of the Cabinet’s decision to appoint them.

Under Article 7(c) of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority Law No. 15 of 2009 and its amendments, the oath was taken by Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners Dr. Maram Maan Al-Freihat, Reserve Management Commissioner Dr. Sami Ahmad Al-Hasanat, and Yousef Mahmoud Al-Awadat.
Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office Affairs Abdul Latif Al-Najdawi and Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority Eng. Adnan Al-Sawaeer attended the oath-taking ceremony.
