Medical sources announced on Sunday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 64,368, the majority of them children and women, since the start of the Israeli assault on October 7, 2023.

The sources added that the number of wounded has climbed to 162,776 since the beginning of the offensive, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense teams.
According to the report, Gaza hospitals received 87 martyrs (including 4 recovered from beneath the rubble) and 409 new injuries in the past 24 hours. Since March 18, when Israel violated the ceasefire agreement, the total has reached 11,911 martyrs and 50,735 wounded.
Hospitals also recorded in the past 24 hours the arrival of 31 martyrs and 132 injuries among those seeking aid, bringing the cumulative total of “bread martyrs” to 2,416 deaths and 17,709 injuries.
Additionally, five new deaths caused by famine and malnutrition were registered in the last 24 hours, including three children, raising the overall toll to 387 deaths, of which 138 were children.
Since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) officially declared famine in Gaza, 109 deaths have been documented, including 23 children.
