In a post on the official "Urdun Jannah" Facebook page, the Ministry emphasized that no surcharges are applied to the announced prices. It urged citizens to report any violations or unjustified price hikes via the hotline (064603366) so that necessary legal action can be taken against violators.
The program's website provides comprehensive details for the "Urdun Jannah 2026" itineraries, including pricing, destinations, booking details, and a list of officially authorized travel agencies.
Key Highlights of the Program:
Verification: The Ministry previously urged participants to ensure they are dealing with officially licensed travel agencies listed in the program's approved directory.
Relaunch: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Emad Hijazin, stated to Al-Mamlaka that the program will be reactivated starting from the first day of Eid al-Fitr, featuring a special track for Petra and other key tourist sites.
Objectives: Implemented by the Ministry and the Jordan Tourism Board in partnership with the private sector, the program offers subsidized trips—including transportation, accommodation, and tour guiding—to support the local economy and encourage domestic tourism.
Statistics: Official data shows that approximately 161,000 participants joined the program in 2025 (between April and November). This follows a significant turnout in 2024, which saw nearly 310,000 participants.
