Al-Jarah noted that the Corporation continues to import oil to meet public demand. He emphasized that sales will be restricted to those holding a queue number, reaffirming that the appointment system remains active; should current stocks run out, customers can use their existing appointments to purchase from new shipments once they arrive.
"We have contracted with multiple importing companies, so there is no need for panic buying," Al-Jarah stated. "Both the Civil and Military Consumer Corporations have secured large quantities, and the price will remain unchanged."
Organizing Olive Oil Sales at the CCC
For his part, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Qudah, directed the management of the Civil Consumer Corporation to implement appropriate mechanisms to organize the sale of olive oil to citizens across its branches.
Qudah urged the Corporation to manage the overcrowding and the high surge in demand, ensuring that individuals do not purchase quantities exceeding their actual needs and preventing the resale of the product by traders.
The Minister stressed the necessity of providing sufficient quantities to meet citizens' needs for this essential commodity at affordable prices.
