His Majesty King Abdullah II received today, Saturday, a reply letter from Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in response to the letter His Majesty sent earlier today. The text of the letter reads as follows:

“My Lord, His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, may God protect and preserve you,
Peace, God’s mercy, and blessings be upon you.
Your Majesty, the Supreme Commander,
With utmost pride and respect, I extend my greetings to a wise leader of keen insight, renewed determination, unwavering resolve, and continuous commitment to developing the Arab Army, so that it may always live up to the responsibility and trust of protecting the الوطن and its citizens to the fullest extent. It is my honor, Your Majesty, to comply with your command to prepare a strategy and roadmap to achieve a structural transformation of the Jordan Armed Forces – the Arab Army over the next three years.

The enlightened thought and deep understanding embodied in your Royal letter—of the requirements imposed by rapid changes and the intertwined regional and international challenges—serve as a strong incentive for the leadership of the Arab Army and its officers to work with utmost diligence and dedication to accomplish this strategy, and to move forward in the path of modernization and development you lead, particularly in light of the need to keep pace with modern combat methods, technological advancements, and artificial intelligence systems.
In accordance with your vision, we will work to achieve the desired qualitative development, enhance the efficiency and combat readiness of personnel across all branches of the Armed Forces, and activate the role of the Armed Forces’ research and development centers. We will also restructure the funds, investment companies, and their managements in line with the highest professional standards.
Your Majesty,
The brave men and women of the Hashemite Arab Army will remain, as you have always known them, the soldiers of the nation and its impregnable shield. We follow your blessed path and draw inspiration from you in the spirit of initiative, determination, and steadfastness in fulfilling our national duty, always aspiring to live up to your expectations and trust, loyal to your wise leadership and your revered throne. May God protect and preserve you, Your Majesty, and guide your steps along the path of goodness. Indeed, He is All-Hearing, All-Answering.
