The Gas Law aims to enhance security of supply, regulate the sector’s activities, and create an attractive investment environment. Meanwhile, the Civil Status Law promotes digital transformation in government services through the adoption of verified digital identity and the establishment of digital postal addresses for citizens, enabling their use in judicial, administrative, and financial notifications issued by official entities.
Amendments to the Traffic Law also allow the use of electronic communication and digital signatures in transactions to simplify and accelerate procedures, in addition to addressing the status of impounded vehicles that could not be sold at public auction.
The agreement to develop and exploit copper and associated minerals in the Abu Khushaiba area aims to support investment in the mining and natural resources sector and contribute to local community development. The agreement with Italy provides for financing the state treasury through a concessional loan valued at €50 million.
