Trump Says Iran Is “Financially Collapsing” Due to Closure of the Strait of Hormuz

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Iran is “financially collapsing” as a result of the closure of the vital Strait of Hormuz.

Writing on his platform, Truth Social, Trump stated: “Iran is financially collapsing! It wants to reopen the Strait of Hormuz immediately,” adding that Iran is “suffering from a shortage of liquidity.”اضافة اعلان

Earlier, Trump had also said that Tehran supports closing the strait “to save face” amid U.S. restrictions on its ports.
