The Public Security Directorate’s media spokesperson said the Cybercrime Unit is monitoring all content posted on social media platforms, including posts and comments that violate the law, offend others inside or outside the Kingdom, or incite hatred.

The spokesperson stressed that the Cybercrime Unit operates around the clock to monitor any legal violations, adding that there will be no leniency in enforcing the law. The strongest legal measures will be taken against anyone who publishes or republishes such content.
The spokesperson also noted that authorities have identified numerous fake accounts operated from outside the Kingdom that seek to spread insults against Jordan and promote hate speech in an attempt to lure others into expanding circles of abuse.
