The Public Security Directorate announced traffic closures along the route of the AYLA DEAD2RED cycling and running race, organized by Generations For Peace under the supervision of the Jordan Cycling Federation on Thursday and Friday, October 22 and 23, 2026.

The closures are intended to ensure public safety and regulate traffic during the race.
The race will start from the Potash Company Square in the Ghor Al-Safi area, passing through Ghor Fifa, Qureiqira, Al-Risha, Rahma, Qatar, Bir Madhkur and Wadi Araba, before reaching the northern entrance to Aqaba.
The route will then continue through the Aqaba Commission intersection and Al-Farouq Street intersection, ending at the entrance to the Ayla Resort.
The race covers approximately 200 kilometers and will feature participants of various nationalities and both men and women.
