Jordan is expected to experience generally mild autumn weather over the next four days, with slight fluctuations in temperatures and limited chances of rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday in some areas, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The department also forecast increased winds that may stir up dust in the Badia regions.
On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to remain around their seasonal averages. Pleasant conditions will prevail over the high mountain areas and moderate weather across the rest of the Kingdom.
Temperatures will drop at night over the mountainous areas, while reduced horizontal visibility is expected during the early morning hours due to fog formation over the high mountains and plains.
Temperatures will rise slightly on Wednesday, bringing moderate conditions across most areas and relatively hot weather in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
There is a slight chance of rain showers during the afternoon in limited parts of the northeastern Badia, occasionally accompanied by thunder. Southwesterly winds are also expected to become active at times, stirring up dust in the Badia regions.
On Thursday, temperatures will fall, with low clouds appearing over northern and central Jordan. Light rain showers may occur during the early morning hours in northern areas and limited parts of the central regions for a short period.
Winds stirring up dust in the Badia areas will also remain active.
On Friday, pleasant autumn weather is expected over the mountainous areas and moderate conditions elsewhere, with low clouds appearing in the sky.
The weather will become relatively cold at night across most areas, while remaining mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Regarding weather warnings, the Meteorological Department urged citizens to exercise caution due to reduced horizontal visibility caused by fog on Tuesday morning and dust in the Badia areas on Wednesday and Thursday, particularly when driving on external roads.
The department said it continues to monitor weather developments and urged citizens to follow its latest forecasts and updates.
