Jordan will gradually be affected on Wednesday by a weak spell of atmospheric instability, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. Temperatures will be mild across most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, the chance of light and scattered showers will increase around midday for a short period in northern Jordan and limited parts of the central regions.
During the evening, the possibility of rainfall will extend to limited areas in the southeastern parts of the Kingdom. Light showers may occasionally be accompanied by thunder. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally picking up in speed.
At night, temperatures will be slightly cool across most areas and mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba, with clouds at various altitudes. Winds will remain northwesterly and moderate.
Highs and lows in eastern Amman will range between 26°C and 17°C, western Amman between 24°C and 15°C, the northern highlands between 21°C and 13°C, the Sharah Mountains between 23°C and 14°C, the Badia between 30°C and 16°C, and the plains between 25°C and 17°C.
In the Northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will range between 33°C and 22°C; in the Central Jordan Valley between 34°C and 23°C; in the Southern Jordan Valley between 35°C and 25°C; at the Dead Sea between 34°C and 24°C; and in Aqaba between 35°C and 24°C.
On Thursday, temperatures will drop slightly, while conditions will remain mild across most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, with a possibility of light showers in northern Jordan. Winds will be westerly and moderate, occasionally becoming stronger. Nighttime conditions will be slightly cool across most areas and mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
On Friday, temperatures will remain mild across most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
