The Northern Military Region foiled an infiltration attempt by an individual along one of its border fronts on Sunday, after Border Guard forces detected him while he was attempting to cross the border illegally.

Border Guard forces dealt with the infiltrator in accordance with the applicable rules of engagement, successfully apprehending him and referring him to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal measures.
The Jordan Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties of securing and protecting the kingdom’s borders against infiltration attempts and illicit activities as part of their mission to safeguard Jordan’s security and sovereignty.
