She continued: "Never underestimate President Trump’s ability to successfully advance America’s interests and broker peace."

Regional Mediation and Scope
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Wednesday that the United States and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire "everywhere," including Lebanon, following his government's mediation to halt the war that began on February 28.

Sharif wrote on "X": "I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran, the United States of America, and their allies have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon and elsewhere, effective immediately."

He added: "We invite both delegations to Islamabad this Friday to continue negotiating toward a final agreement to settle all disputes." Sharif noted that both parties demonstrated great wisdom and remained constructively engaged in promoting peace and stability. He concluded by expressing hope that the "Islamabad Talks" would achieve a sustainable peace.

Conflicting Reports on Lebanon
The Israeli website "Ynet" quoted security sources suggesting that the ceasefire with Iran would also encompass Lebanon.

Furthermore, CNN cited U.S. officials stating that the Trump administration is preparing for direct talks with Iran, in which Vice President JD Vance is expected to participate.
