AMMAN – An official military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) announced that a controlled explosion of a rock formation will be carried out this afternoon in the Yajouz area, located near the vicinity of the JAF General Command.

The source explained that this procedure aims to remove rocky obstacles to improve the site's terrain and comply with public safety requirements.
The JAF confirmed that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of citizens and property. The explosion will be conducted within a specific timeframe under the direct supervision of specialized personnel from the Royal Military Engineering Directorate, and it will have no impact outside the designated site.
The source urged residents in neighboring areas not to be alarmed, to avoid approaching the work site during the operation, and to adhere to all instructions issued by the competent authorities to maintain public safety.
