Prime Minister Jafar Hassan received Finnish President Alexander Stubb at the Prime Ministry on Monday. During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly nations and expanding the horizons of cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, education, and technology.

The Prime Minister highlighted Jordan's keenness to develop its ties with Finland both bilaterally and within the framework of the European Union. He pointed out that the Jordan-EU Investment Conference, scheduled to be held in Jordan during the last quarter of this year, represents a significant opportunity to bolster economic and trade cooperation with EU member states.
For his part, the Finnish President expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s regional role under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II. He noted that Jordan possesses vast potential for cooperation that Finland looks forward to developing and capitalizing on.
The meeting also addressed several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The session was attended by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat, Jordan's Non-resident Ambassador to Finland, Fayez Khouri, and Finland's Non-resident Ambassador to Jordan, Anne Meskanen.
