In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry said it had received 359 applications for cash support after instructing its field directorates across the Kingdom’s governorates at the beginning of the year to accept applications from associations and federations under its supervision. Applications were submitted through the unified funding window of the Associations Subsidies Programme for the current year.
The ministry explained that all submitted applications were assessed according to the approved criteria and standards to ensure that support reached eligible associations and federations. The initiative aims to strengthen the impact of the funding by improving the services provided by the associations sector and ensuring their sustainability.
