This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s strategy to enhance the efficiency of vital road networks, keep pace with urban expansion, and support the Kingdom's economic growth. The project focuses on improving infrastructure to reduce traffic congestion, enhance public safety, and facilitate transit between regions.

Project Details and Technical Scope:
Cost & Funding: The total cost is estimated at approximately JOD 2 million, funded directly by the Ministry.

Duration: Execution is scheduled for 150 working days according to the approved timeline.

Technical Work: The scope includes comprehensive maintenance of sections degraded by heavy traffic loads. This involves using advanced asphalt mixes, milling damaged layers, full rehabilitation, and applying precision patching.

Safety Elements: The road will be equipped with all necessary safety features, including road markings and reflective cat-eyes, to ensure long-term structural durability.

Traffic Management:
The Ministry has implemented a partial traffic diversion system to ensure continuous transit without closing the highway. Traffic will be diverted to one lane while work proceeds on the other in an organized, alternating manner, supported by international-standard safety signage.

The Ministry urged citizens to cooperate fully and adhere to the instructions of field teams, the executing contractor, and the Public Security Directorate to ensure the project is completed with the highest quality and minimal disruption to daily traffic.
