The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army said no injuries or loss of life were reported as a result of the missile attack targeting the Kingdom in recent hours, which originated from Iranian territory.
The spokesperson said specialized teams had begun dealing with and securing the sites where falling debris landed, while taking the necessary measures to ensure citizens’ safety.
The Armed Forces urged citizens not to approach any unidentified objects or falling debris, and not to touch or move them. Citizens were also asked to immediately notify the relevant authorities if they found any such objects.
The Armed Forces further called on citizens to avoid circulating unverified information and to rely on statements issued by official authorities.
The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army reaffirmed that its units and formations continue to carry out their duties around the clock, while surveillance and air defense systems remain on alert and ready to respond to any threat, safeguarding the Kingdom’s security, the safety of its citizens and the sovereignty of its airspace.
